Hi I'm Catherine and I'm a natural light, lifestyle photographer. I started my photography journey specialising exclusively in Hospital Fresh Newborn sessions at Newcastle Private Hospital. This very quickly extended to in-home lifestyle newborn sessions and outdoor location Maternity & Family photography followed not long after. I find it so exciting and rewarding to be able to follow my clients from their pregnancy to the arrival of their baby and then continue to capture special moments for them as their family grows & changes.

Hospital Fresh

Those first few days with your new baby are some of the most joyous & special of your life. This wonderful & emotional time seems to be over in the blink of an eye with our memory of that time being somewhat of a blur. Let me capture these precious early moments as you get to know your new love. I come to you in hospital within the first few days of your baby’s life to photograph this amazing time & ensure your memories never fade.

 

I offer a relaxed, lifestyle photography session that captures the amazing connection & bond that forms in those early days as it is happening. A magical time where you can pause and focus entirely on your new baby, before the hustle & bustle of the outside world joins you.

 

Precious images to look back upon to remember this ever so brief yet intensely important time of your life.

 

Without disruption to everything else going on I'll arrange a time to come to you in your hospital room for about an hour to image your beautiful baby in the environment where your life with them began. Your new baby grows & changes so quickly, let me image all the tiny details to remember forever. 

 

Traditionally hospital 'Fresh 48' sessions aim to photograph your baby within the first 48 hours of their life. I can certainly do this, potentially capturing the very first meeting of siblings or grandparents having their first cuddle. However if you or baby are not up to it immeadiately, I can always come on Day 3 or 4 when the dust has settled & mum may be a little more rested & mobile. 

 

 

In Home

If you prefer, I also offer a natural lifestyle newborn session that captures your new baby settling into life in their very first home. This session is best to take place in the first few weeks of baby's life.

Maternity

The love for your baby begins well before they arrive & as such, I also offer maternity sessions to document this special journey to parenthood. The excitement, the anticipation, the love.

Family

This love, of course, is never ending and they grow & change so quickly. My family sessions aim to capture your family as it is right then and there, as the next stage is always just around the corner. Don't leave it too long between these sessions.
